觀影小記︰《窺孔》(Keyhole)

        加拿大怪傑導演佳麥甸(Guy Maddin)素來喜歡玩黑白復古影象與默片技巧,內容卻又往往超現實得有如夢魘,誓要鑽進自己記憶與心靈中最詭秘虛幻之處,與現實世界和銀幕觀眾玩精神式捉迷藏,觀者稍一失神,就會飄流在無意識的國度,永遠找不到出口。佳麥甸上一部作品《故城風雪行》(My Winnipeg,2007)講故鄉與親情,雖然手法獨特罕見,然主題明確有跡可尋,是我該年極欣賞的影片之一;今年這部《窺孔》(Keyhole,2011)揉合古希臘的荷馬(Homer)史詩《奧德賽》(Odyssey)與三十年代的黑幫故事,卻原來整部戲就是在自家大宅穿越過去現在,透過匙孔溜進心靈中每個回憶房間,一切都怪異得不知所云,比大衛連治(David Lynch)更難以捉摸,誰說得出這部戲在講甚麼,我衷心寫個「服」字。佳麥甸是超現實電影大師布紐爾(Luis Buñuel)的粉絲,這部戲說不定是源自後者的不朽傑作《滅絕天使》(The Exterminating Angel,1962)中那能進入潛意識慾望的衣櫥,《窺孔》的男主角又走不出大宅,難道不是如出一轍嗎?不過,不論佳麥甸在作品中嵌入了多少潛意識符碼,影評人將來又怎樣套用各種心理學理論分析,我就是不可能理解他拍祖父鬼魂含陽具口交的意義;伊莎貝拉羅西里尼(Isabella Rossellini)素來有參演偏峰電影的癮頭,現在年紀老了,似乎想玩得更癲。可惜這樣的電影,終究是太虛太遠太怪太癲,也許可當奇觀欣賞,無論如何難以走進觀眾的心靈呢。不過我相信佳麥甸會繼續走更怪更偏的路……

       A: ...I just felt that any house that's haunted by memories and incidents is haunted sexually as well. I had a scene, which I deleted, where the naked grandfather figure blows six family members in a row; he called it a six-shooter. It's shot and edited and it will be on the Blu-ray. I was never quite comfortable with just one blowjob in the movie.  It seemed like one was an awkward number. It needed to be sort of a really horribly discomfiting total.
